The use of the Régie du logement form has been
mandatory since September 1, 1996. It must be used for any new rental of a
dwelling, whether a room, an apartment, a condominium, a house, etc. The lease
is a rental contract entered into between a landlord and a tenant in order to
define their respective commitments in regard to a dwellling. It contains two
parts.
You will need to download Part 1 of the lease (the negotiable
part) from the website of Les Publications du Québec . Part 2
must be purchased, it's only available in paper format. It is sold through this
page of our website or at our location in Montreal. |
