Multi-Unit Residential
Building
Operations Manual for Owners
and Managers |
It is estimated that in many multi-unit residential
buildings, operation and maintenance related expenses could be reduced by up to
25% by adopting more efficient and effective maintenance practices. The process
described in this manual will guide the owner/manager in creating an Operation
and Energy Management Plan and assist in making resource decisions concerning
on-site staff or outside contractors.
While much of the information
contained within this manual is directed at reducing costs, it also provides
helpful direction for improving the overall performance of apartment building
in terms of durability and occupant health and safety.
