Canadian Immunization Guide 2006, 7th Edition
Published by the Public Health Agency of Canada and prepared by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI), this new 2006 edition has been extensively updated, and includes more information on such topics as vaccine safety, effective communication, and immunization of adults and health care workers.

The seventh edition of the Canadian Immunization Guide was developed by the NACI with the support of the Immunization and Respiratory Infections Division, Public Health Agency of Canada, to provide updated information and recommendations on the use of vaccines in Canada. The seventh edition contains numerous changes from the 2002 version. Every chapter has been thoroughly reviewed and updated as required, taking into consideration the input received from the user survey conducted in 2004.

Three new chapters have been added:
  • Principles of Combination Vaccines
  • Principles of Vaccine Interchangeability
  • Immunization of Persons New to Canada
