Canadian Immunization Guide

November 2, 2011: The 2006
Canadian Immunization Guide is currently under review and being converted into
an on-line version with chapters updated as needed. As individual chapter
updates become available, they will be posted on the Public Health Agency of
Canada's website:

Published by the Public Health Agency of Canada and
prepared by the National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI), this new
2006 edition has been extensively updated, and includes more information on
such topics as vaccine safety, effective communication, and immunization of
adults and health care workers.
The seventh edition of the Canadian
Immunization Guide was developed by the NACI with the support of the
Immunization and Respiratory Infections Division, Public Health Agency of
Canada, to provide updated information and recommendations on the use of
vaccines in Canada. The seventh edition contains numerous changes from the 2002
version. Every chapter has been thoroughly reviewed and updated as required,
taking into consideration the input received from the user survey conducted in
2004. |
