This guide summarizes the intervention protocols to be
followed by first aiders, and takes into account the Emergency Medical Services
(EMS) system in place in Québec. It was designed for all first aiders in
the workplace who have been trained in accordance with CSST requirements, and
is intended as a tool to assist them in their interventions.
